I know I am due for an update, but, the "June Gloom" in Monterey has set in (even though it's July). A typical Monterey summer? Terribly foggy, cold and, actually...I have my heat on right now. I love Monterey, and adore my life here. But, honey? WHERE IS SUMMER? Summer in Monterey lasted...um...about 3 weeks. Really...my mind is on the islands.
Plane Ticket? Check.
Reservations for an Oceanfront House with Eternity Pool? Check.
Vacation Time Approved? Check.
Beach Ready Body? in progress - we're down 13 pounds!!!

how beautiful! i'm a little jealous. we didn't get a vaca this summer due to moving and a few days in a hammock, on the beach with an ice cold corona sounds like just what i need!!!!

It's about 12:45am on Labor Day (at least in Atlanta it is), and I found myself thinking about Parrothead friends (none of whom I have much contact with anymore.
In fact, in Atlanta we never got going with the local club, but I have a new group of consorts, bar poker players! I'm all in!
